Athena Johns

Athena Johns is a registered patent attorney. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2009. Her practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, particularly in the areas of communications hardware and software.

Ms. Johns received her J.D. in 2009 from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she served as Editor in Chief of the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin and received a CALI Award for Excellence in Science and the Law. She received a B.S. in Engineering Physics , cum laude, in 2002 from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and was named Outstanding Graduate in Engineering Physics.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Johns provided acoustical consulting services as an engineer in San Francisco, California. She has also developed software and developed and managed databases.
