Mr. Henson is a registered patent attorney. His practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, computer, and software arts.
Prior to joining the Kerr IP Law Group, Mr. Henson worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. As a patent examiner, Mr. Henson examined patent applications related to power conservation and management, computer clock, pulse, or timing signal generation and analysis, computer clock control, synchronization of plural processors, and computer system initialization and configuration.
Mr. Henson received his J.D., cum laude, at the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2008. He was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2008. Mr. Henson also holds a B.S. in electrical engineering, which he received in 2004 at the University of Nevada, Reno.
After receiving his B.S.E.E., Mr. Henson worked as an electrical and systems engineer. Mr. Henson has experience as an application developer and database administrator. Mr. Henson also has experience with web-based information management systems, encryption/decryption, and RF, fibre, and Ethernet network communication systems.
